Q13. What is the purpose of defining headings in a Web page?
Ans. Heading levels help us define the layout and structure of an HTML document. They allow us to present information in an HTML document in an organized way. Heading are typically displayed in large and bold fonts to differentiate them from the rest of the text in the body of the document. HTML provides six levels of headings, which are specified by the following tags:
,
,
,
,
,
. Any text that is placed within the preceding tags appears in bold, and the size of the text depends on the heading level, with
being the largest heading and
being the smallest.
