Mutual Exclusion

Q2. What is Mutual Exclusion?

Ans. This principle states that each resource is either assigned to a process exclusively or is available to use, that is, the resources must be non sharable. Only one process at a time can use the resource, if another process requests that resource, the requesting process must be delayed until the resource has been released.
