Ans. the principles of interpersonal communication are as follows:
- Inescapable: A person continuously communicates with one another. Person communicates not only through words but also through tone of voice, gesture, posture and facial expression so communication can not be avoided.
- Irreversible: Words once spoken can never be taken back. Thurs communication is irreversible just like bullet shot of a gun.
- Complicated: A simple word spoken or a gesture maybe wrongly interpreted by another person. The involvement of various factors make communication a complex matter.
- Contextual: Communication cannot take place in isolation. It is always to the context like psychological, relational, situational, environmental, cultural etc.
