Ans. the principles of interpersonal communication are as follows:

  1. Inescapable: A person continuously communicates with one another. Person communicates not only through words but also through tone of voice, gesture, posture and facial expression so communication can not be avoided.
  2.  Irreversible: Words once spoken can never be taken back. Thurs communication is irreversible just like bullet shot of a gun.
  3. Complicated: A simple word spoken or a gesture maybe wrongly interpreted by another person. The involvement of various factors make communication a complex matter.
  4.  Contextual: Communication cannot take place in isolation. It is always to the context like psychological, relational, situational, environmental, cultural etc.
