Q4. What do you understand by DBMS?
Ans. In DBMS, data is stored centrally. This allows users to easily access and shares the data as a common resource. DBMS helps in the integration of stored data by preventing data inconsistency and data duplication. In addition, accessing, retrieving and modifying of stored data is easy through DBMS. DBMS allows also multiple users to access the same data simultaneously. Moreover, the access to the database is controlled. In other words, unauthorized users are prevented from accessing the database.
