Boot Sector and Boot Strap Loader

Q2. What do you mean by boot sector? What is boot strap loader?

Ans. If Operating System files are found in a drive, its very first sector (called boot sector) is read which stores a small program called bootstrap loader in which instructions for booting up process are stored. The bootstrap loader is then loaded into main memory and its instructions are executed.
